We had a great time at the Long Term Care.  Mud pies were made and everyone got their face painted.  Tomorrow is an early release day.  This weekend, Petersburg is here for volleyball.  On Monday, we will be having a Halloween Party from 2:00-2:40.  You can wear your costumes and bring a treat to share with everyone.  Hope to see you all there!!! 

Tomorrow we are going to the Long Term Care from 10:00-11:15.  They will provide activities for us to do with the residents and always have goodie for us to eat :)  Please stop by if you have any spare time!  Also, October 27, 2011 has been recognized as "Stomp Out Bullying Day" by Wrangell Public Schools.  Please join us to support anti-bullying in our schools by wearing Blue tomorrow (Thursday). Lastly, new spelling words went home today. 

Tomorrow is another Wednesday, which means Spelling Tests! :)  It also means that new spelling words will be sent home, so watch for them!  Do not forget to turn in the permission slips to get your face painted at the Long Term Care as well.  I hope you all are getting as excited for Halloween as I am! 

I hope everyone had a great weekend! 18 AM and AR points are due this Friday.  Also, we will be visiting the Long Term Care this Thursday for arts and crafts.  Since it  is Halloween time, they are going to offer face painting.  I have sent home a letter asking your permission for your child to have his/her face painted (a small design on the cheek).  Please return that slip before Thursday.  We will be there from 10:00-11:15, so stop by if you have a minute!

Tomorrow we are going to the Fire Hall for Fire Prevention Week.  We will start walking at 8:35 to be there for our scheduled time 8:45 .  Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately.  If you have the time, we would love for you to join us!  Also, tomorrow is an early release day.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!  If you are looking for something to do, there will be volleyball games Friday and Saturday night (6pm)at the HS gym. 

Spelling tests were given today, therefore, new spelling words were sent home.  Please spend some time each evening to study these words.  16 AM and AR points are due by this Friday as well.  If you have not signed and returned your child's data sheet, please do so.  If you have any questions about any of my posts/websites, please me let me know!

I love discovering live webcams throughout the world.  One of my favorites is www.africam.com.  Cameras have been placed at certain watering holes in Southern Africa, and you can view it in real time on the internet. You can see some amazing animals in their natural habitat from the comfort of  your home :)
