MOOM (Museum of online Museums) has a list of museums that have online exhibits.  Some are photographs and others are a virtual tour.  There are a lot of excellent museums on this list!  Check it out!

New spelling words went home today, they are on yellow paper.  Please take some time to study them every evening!  Don't forget, 12 AM and AR points are due this Friday.  I hope everyone is enjoying the snow while it is here!!

If you are tired of spellingcity.com, there are several other spelling websites out there.  You can either create a list or use one they have pre-made.  Kidsspell.com is an excellent resource, as well as gamesgames.com, Catch the Spelling, and Spin and Spell.  Remember, spelling test on Wednesday :)

I hope everyone had a fabulous vacation!  I had a great time with family and friends!  Those of you that remembered your reading logs, great job!! It is not too late though, turn them in tomorrow if you forgot.  We are back to normal as far as homework.  Your child will have Saxon homework Monday-Thursday and reading every evening.  By this Friday, 10 AM and AR points are due.  Happy New Year!

Winter Break is close!!  We had a great time at the Long Term Care today.  The kids got to do a little giving, which really put a smile on their face.  There are no spelling words until after the new year.  I will hand out the new spelling lists the first week of January.  Please check to ensure that your child has 8 AM and AR points by Friday.  Many took AM home this evening because they are behind in points.  I do not want them to come back after break and already be behind.
